A Change in the Board of Directors

The Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pohjolan Voima Oy have changed. Mr Tapio Korpeinen, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning (President, Energy and Pulp Business Group as of 1 December, 2008) of UPM-Kymmene Corporation has today been nominated Chairman of the Board of Pohjolan Voima Oy. Mr Juha Vanhainen, Executive Vice President, Newsprint and Book Paper, Country Manager Finland of Stora Enso Oyj, has been nominated Deputy Chairman of the Board.
