Organisational arrangements in the management of PVO and TVO

The Board of Directors of Pohjolan Voima Oy (PVO) and President and CEO, Mr Timo Rajala (60) have agreed that Mr Rajala will continue as President and CEO until 31 December 2011.

President and CEO of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO), Mr Pertti Simola (58) has been appointed Executive Vice President of PVO.  TVO's Board of Directors has appointed Senior Vice President, Power Plant Engineering, Mr Jarmo Tanhua (43) as President and CEO of TVO.  The appointments enter into effect as of 1 July 2008.

Mr Timo Rajala has been at the PVO group for 33 years, 16 years of which as President and CEO.  He has been Chairman or Deputy Chairman of TVO's Board of Directors for 16 years.

Mr Pertti Simola became TVO's President and CEO in 2004. He was earlier at UPM-Kymmene Corporation, and has earlier been a member of TVO's Board of Directors for 10 years.

Mr Jarmo Tanhua has been employed by TVO for 18 years and since 2004 acted as Senior Vice President, Power Plant Engineering and been a member of the Management Group.
