Pohjolan Voima renews its organisation towards process control
In Pohjolan Voima's new strategy, approved in the summer 2019, the company defined as its goal to create decisive power to strengthen competitiveness and contribute to a better tomorrow. The key themes of the strategy are; on market terms towards carbon neutrality, competitive advantage through regulating capability, and becoming a production asset management top expert.
As one part of the strategy implementation Pohjolan Voima considers and re-evaluates the current operational model, organisational structures, strategic competences and key functions. The operation is developed towards increased process control.
The plans for reorganisation were considered in Pohjolan Voima Oyj, the parent company of Pohjolan Voima Group, in cooperation with the personnel in a negotiation procedure according to the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings. The negotiations were concluded on 13 December 2019. The decisions made on reorganisation will result in a reduction of four persons in the number of employees.
