Please read the terms and conditions applicable to this site carefully before accessing and using this World Wide Web service ("Services")

By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Do not access the Services if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions.

This privacy policy applies to these Services. However, there might exist other conditions on the specific websites of the different Pohjolan Voima Group companies ("PVO").

Non-personal information

All activity on these Services is logged and your IP address is stored to the log. The purpose of the log is to collect information on service usage volumes and patterns, number of visitors, which parts of the Services have/have not been used and system errors. The collected data is used to further develop and enhance these Services.

The log does not collect personal user data (name, address, date of birth etc.) unless you yourself have provided them. These Services may use technology, such as Google Analytics, that reveals certain technical information like your computer's operating system, network location, browser type and address of a referring Web site.


Cookies may be used in these Services. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer's hard disk. Cookies are used to maintain session state and your personal preferences of the service. If you do not wish to receive cookies or do not want to be notified of when they are placed, you may set your web browser to do so, if your browser permits it. If you do so, please be aware that you may not be able to view nor use certain parts of this site.

Personal information

If you provide personal information (name, job title, address, telephone, fax, company name, reference number, enquiry details etc) to PVO, the information is used to provide you with special services and to fulfill your requests. You may be contacted by PVO or by its representative for additional information, to answer your questions, fulfill your requests, for marketing purposes, opinion surveys, for product surveys or for technical administration and development of this site or for similar purposes. Personal information may have to be transferred between PVO Group companies or third parties in countries, where the level of protection does not necessarily meet EU legal requirements, in order to carry out the above or fulfill your customer needs. The recipient of such information shall be required to protect the confidentiality and security of the personal information and may not use it for any other purpose. Personal information may be used to check other appropriate privacy related information, to investigate and help prevent unlawful activity or activity that endangers our network or otherwise prevents the provision of these Services. PVO's policy is not to rent or sell such information to third parties. PVO may disclose information to authorities when required or permitted by law.

In case you provide personal information about someone else, like spouse or colleague, we will assume that you have their permission to do so. You also hereby grant PVO the right to exchange any information provided by you between PVO's affiliates for the aforementioned purposes.

Protecting personal information

PVO will store personal information as required to meet legal and regulatory requirements or as needed in accordance with this policy. PVO has endeavoured to take appropriate action to protect your personal information in order to prevent their unauthorized and incorrect use. However, no system is fully secure.

Job Applications

By registering with Careers at PVO service, you provide the company with your personal data and explicitly state that you are interested in employment at PVO. You can view and update your data. Please give only private addresses for email and written mail contact purposes. PVO's policy is to treat your data as confidential. Your application documents will be used when searching for suitable candidates within PVO. Apart from you, only recruitment related persons have access to your data.

By registering with Careers at PVO service and by releasing your profile, you agree to PVO contacting you for HR purposes. If, at a specific time, you no longer wish to be contacted, you can lock or delete your profile.

You are responsible for ensuring that your data is correct and true. By submitting your application, you agree to your data being used in conjunction with the filling of open positions. You also have the possibility to apply solely for one defined job opening. To activate these restrictions you have to mark your application accordingly before sending it to PVO.

You have the option of withdrawing your application. Your data will be deleted in accordance with the applicable laws once the application process ends or if you withdraw your application. However, your data will not be deleted if you released it for the registration process.

PVO continuously wants to improve its processes. Therefore, PVO will ask applicants (and former applicants) to participate in anonymous surveys once in a while. These surveys will either be conducted by PVO itself or by a specialized external processor on behalf of PVO. For this purpose any external processor will only get your name, e-mail address and a reference to an organizational unit within PVO. The surveys and the resulting reports will be completely anonymous. Your name and e-mail address will be deleted after our e-mail contact with you. Of course, it is completely up to you, whether you participate in such a survey.


No information may be submitted to PVO by persons under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, nor may persons under the age of 18 make any legal acts on this site without such consent, unless permitted by applicable legislation.

Handling your information

You are able to review and update your information by contacting PVO. Please note that you have the right to ask what personal data concerning you PVO processes and why once a year free of charge by sending a personally signed letter to PVO giving your full name and address. In such cases please contact PVO HR. If any data should be incorrect, you are entitled to have it rectified.
