The operational business of Laanilan Voima Oy, a subsidiary of Pohjolan Voima, has shut down at the end of March. The operational business of Laanilan Voima terminated as a result the restructuring of the energy functions that are being realised by Oulun Energia Ltd and Kemira Oyj at the Laanila industrial site in Oulu.
Due to the restructuring, Laanilan Voima has conducted cooperation negotiations involving all of its employees. As a result of the negotiations 12 Laanilan Voima employees will transfer to Oulun Energia in May. In addition, one person will transfer to Pohjolan Voima Oyj. The employment contracts will end for the rest of the Laanilan Voima’s employees. The total number of personnel of Laanilan Voima is 28.
