Eero Niemitalo, M.Sc. (Eng.) has been appointed Managing Director of Porin Prosessivoima Oy as of 1 January 2022. The position as Managing Director is part-time and Eero Niemitalo will continue in his current position as Director of business operations of Pori Energia Oy. Mr Niemitalo has previously acted as Development Manager at Por Energia and as Engineer, Operations at the power plant of Rauman Biovoima Oy.
The combined heat and power plant of Porin Prosessivoima Oy produces process heat at the Venator mill site in Kaanaa, Pori, and district heat to the district heating network of Pori Energy. In addition, the power plant generates electricity.
The current Managing Director of Porin Prosessivoima Oy Mr Timo Mäki, M.Sc. (Eng.) will retire during the year 2022.
